On 8th April 2018 we have a wonderful volunteer Bethany Dodds, who is taking part in the ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon in Trafford to raise funds and awareness of WHAG.

WHAG offers a high quality and valuable service to vulnerable, homeless women and women and men who have experienced domestic abuse across the North West. Our services include refuge accommodation, supported accommodation, floating support and community work.

WHAG also offers group work sessions in the community and are involved in awareness raising events in schools where resources allow (by arrangement). We also currently run the Recovery Toolkit, The Freedom Programme and The Gateway Course in various boroughs.

WHAG are always looking for volunteers, Ambassadors, Fundraisers, Interpreters, Board of Trustee members, etc.

The ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon is a super fast course that is the flattest marathon course in the UK and one of the flattest in the world.

The race village is situated at Emirates Old Trafford, the home of Lancashire Cricket Club and the race will start just a short walk away on the A56 White City Roundabout and finish on Talbot Road outside Emirates Old Trafford.
