Recovery Toolkit, The Freedom Programme and the Gateway Programme

WHAG run the follwing programmes in the community:-

 

THE RECOVERY TOOLKIT (Rochdale & Bury)

 

What is it?

The Recovery Toolkit is a 12-week course that builds on itself week by week. It aims to help women to recover from the psychological trauma of being in an abusive relationship. The programme can be used on an individual basis, however, it works best as a group. In order for it to bring about change, it is important that the women are committed to attending each week so they can achieve maximum growth and personal development. THE FREEDOM PROGRAMME (Bury)

 

What is it?

The Freedom Programme has been written to assist any individual who has experienced domestic abuse/violence who wishes to learn more about the reality of domestic violence and abuse.  It helps women understand the beliefs held by abusive men and in so doing, recognise which of these beliefs they have shared.  For more information about THE FREEDOM PROGRAMME please Download Here.  To Refer to  THE FREEDOM PROGRAMME please see below

 

THE GATEWAY PROGRAMME (Cheshire West and Chester)

 

What is it?

The Gateway Programme is built on the principle of respect and empowerment while raising awareness of the impact and dynamics of controlling relationships.

The aim is to Raise awareness within a risk-managed programme, encouraging safer and informed choices for the future.
