Rochdale drop in
Who is the service for?
Women aged over 18 who live in the Borough of Rochdale.
What do we offer?
The Rochdale Drop In sessions are every Wednesday at Recovery Republic in Heywood. They start at 10.00 a.m. and run for around two hours. You don’t have to make an appointment, you can just turn up. There is usually a mixture of people who come regularly and people who ‘dip in and out.’ They are group sessions and the group members decide what they want to do during the sessions.
Recent activities have included:
- Chair based exercise
- Health and well being
- Arts and crafts sessions
- Art therapy
- Quizzes, games and bingo
- Coffee mornings
Although the sessions are social, group members get to know each other and provide mutual support.
If you feel you need extra help or information you can book a one-to-one meeting with WHAG’s support worker at the end of the session. If the issues can’t be sorted out in the time available, then you can use WHAG’s floating support service.
