Development Project - Bury
Who is the service for?
- Vulnerable women of all backgrounds
- Aged 16 and over
- Women living in the Borough of Bury including Whitefield, Prestwich, Radcliffe, Tottington, Ramsbottom
- Women who feel they would benefit from support dealing with issues such as drug or alcohol misuse, mental health issues, domestic violence etc.
What do we do?
- We have three female support workers to provide advice and support to vulnerable women.
- We support black & ethnic minority women and have an Urdu/Punjabi speaking support worker
- We offer a signposting service and regular drop-in sessions
We offer support with:
- Tenancy maintenance
- Budgeting/debts
- Benefit applications
- Life skills
- Resettlement
- Form Filling
- Accessing training/education/employment
- Confidence building/ independence
- Accessing local services and attending appointments
