This service offers 12 weeks of support to adults (16+) from Cheshire West and Chester
The Cheshire West and Chester service provides support to adults (16+) moving into a Cheshire West and Chester tenancy following refuge or dispersed accommodation.
We offer support with:
- Moving into your home
- Arranging target hardening
- Applying for benefits such as Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit
- Setting up utility payments/meters
- Accessing grants/budgeting loans
- Purchasing furniture
- Accessing local community services
- Accessing recovery programmes
How long is the support?
Up to 12 weeks
Telephone support via a key ring service is offered for up to 12 months
How do I refer?
All referrals must go through WHAG
What happens next?
Potential clients are assessed by WHAG to see if our service would be suitable and we can offer appropriate support for your needs. If you’re accepted you will be contacted by a WHAG support worker to arrange to see you.
All our support workers are committed to providing a high quality service to women of many different backgrounds and everyone is invited to become involved in the organisation.
